TITAN AERO, French global manufacturer of aircraft refuelling vehicles has joined forces with AL SHIRAWI ENTERPRISES to deploy innovative zero emission solutions in the Middle East region and reduce the environmental impact of ground support operations. TITAN AERO is at the forefront of electric refuelling technologies having started development over 4 years ago, with units already in operation with international oil companies and into-plane operators.

AL SHIRAWI ENTERPRISES is a long-term key player in the support of refuelling vehicles in the UAE but more than that, the well-known company is recognized as leader in the distribution of trucks across the Emirates. AL SHIRAWI ENTERPRISES also takes pride in its sophisticated ‘after-sales’ services, which ensure maximum customer satisfaction in the various sector in which it operates.

The consortium of companies is now ready for deploying their forces to offer zero emissions turnkey aircraft solutions in the region from hybridization of existing refuelling units, electric chassis swap and refurbishment to delivery of brand-new hybrid or full electric refuellers (including dispensers). Supporting sustainable airport operations, zero emision refuelling is now a proven reality.

TITAN DEFENSE’s experience with the armed forces for more than 60 years has helped developing refuelling solutions that are ever closer to the field’s needs. The main areas of innovation are alternative energies and high mobility.

A high mobility tactical refueller will be exhibited during all the event, the TITAN-ZR7.

On Thursday 25 November 2021, the Pourprix Group inaugurated its new premises located in the North industrial zone of Arnas, under the high patronage of Mr Laurent WAUQUIEZ, President of the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Regional Council.

These premises consist of 4,500m² of workshops and 1,000m² of offices, built on a plot of 11,000m² for the three companies of the group: TITAN AERO, TITAN DEFENSE and REDS.

The directors are very committed to the environmental cause and have turned the premises into an ultra-functional production tool that is resolutely focused on the energy transition. The site has also obtained ISO 14001 certification.

In 2020, the group launched the world's first range of hybrid and electric fuelling equipment. And given the excellent reception of its innovative developments by its customers, the group now aims to assert its position as technological leader in its market.
